And who’s on the president-elect’s blacklist
Donald Trump, despite his extraordinarily high self-esteem, could not help but feel a martyr complex — a martyr for his beliefs. For nine years, opponents have relentlessly hounded the amateur politician, and not just because his candidacy bypassed the approval of the so-called Deep State. Trump’s «guilt» lies in his adherence to traditionalist views of society, his unwavering belief in success, and his intention to employ alternative strategies and tactics to maintain the economic power and global hegemony of the United States.
The metaphorical «bullet wound» only strengthened Trump’s conviction that his opponents would stop at nothing to prevent his return to power. As a result, as the 47th president of the United States, he would be unable to show mercy to the fallen — more specifically, the defeated Democrats — as he did after his ascent to the White House in 2016.
I vividly recall a news report from a campaign rally where an electrified crowd of Trump supporters chanted «Lock her up!» — a direct reference to Trump’s rival from the neoliberal camp, Hillary Clinton.
It seems that Trump’s moment of reckoning — or rather, his moment of revenge, since this dish is best served cold — is approaching. He has repeatedly called for the arrest of former Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who, according to Washington rumors, orchestrated the «impeachment» of Joe Biden to replace him with Kamala Harris. He is equally eager to arrest Democratic Congressman Adam Schiff, one of the proponents of the conspiracy theory that Trump was installed as U.S. president by the Kremlin («Russiagate»).
Trump is accusing these and other politicians and officials who have significantly disturbed him of nothing less than treason.
According to insider information obtained by Politico, Trump’s blacklist includes Special Counsel Jack Smith, former Republican Congresswoman Liz Cheney, ex-FBI Director James Comey, the 46th President of the United States Joe Biden, along with his Vice President Kamala Harris, the 44th President Barack Obama, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg (Meta is recognized as an extremist and banned in Russia), and a host of other prominent figures whose names are widely known.
While the likelihood of high-level political figures in American politics being imprisoned is close to zero, mid-level bureaucrats within the Washington bureaucracy have every reason to be concerned.
Trump has nominated Pam Bondi, the former attorney general of Florida, to lead the Department of Justice (DOJ), causing a stir within the agency. During her previous tenure, Bondi blocked directives from Democratic President Obama and defended Florida’s ban on same-sex marriage.
Reports have surfaced that trucks equipped with document shredders have been parked near DOJ headquarters. These high-speed machines are used to reduce documents to confetti. It’s not hard to deduce that bureaucrats are busy destroying incriminating evidence about themselves, given their direct involvement in orchestrating the legal persecution of Trump.
Pam Bondi is a loyalist of the highest order — a devoted servant of Trump. There is every reason to predict that she will take on the task of «draining the swamp», targeting Deep State agents who have spent years undermining their leader.
Similar purges are expected throughout the executive branch, led jointly by innovative entrepreneur Elon Musk and maverick politician Vivek Ramaswamy.
They have already announced a radical dismantling of the budgets of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which funds state-owned media outlets. These outlets have abandoned the objectivity required by their charters and regulations in favor of unequivocal and unwavering support for the Democratic Party and its ideological crusade to reshape the minds of the predominantly conformist American populace.
In full accordance with the adage «he who pays the piper calls the tune», these media outlets have faithfully served the Democratic Party. Networks such as PBS and NPR have been vocal advocates of neoliberal orthodoxy, even suggesting that the nation’s most important holiday, Independence Day on July 4, be turned into a «Victims of Colonialism Day».
Those who disagreed with the neoliberal agenda were dismissed with the stroke of a pen. Under the supervision of these institutions, including numerous NGOs, Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy will swing the pendulum in the opposite direction. A precedent already exists: in 2020, President Trump appointed loyal managers to oversee Voice of America and Radio Free Europe.
As a curious anecdote, one incident stands out. Given carte blanche to audit the Biden administration’s financial records, Elon Musk uncovered an unusual taxpayer expense: the National Institutes of Health had spent $592,000 to study why chimpanzees throw their feces. Musk declared firmly, «Well, that expense will be cut. We’re also going to fire everyone who approved it, drug test them, and send them to psychiatrists».
It is intriguing to consider whether Trump’s visible hand of vengeance will extend to those who waged a sustained media campaign to demonize him. Among them, historian and journalist Anne Applebaum occupies a prominent position.
In an article titled «The Former President, Though Out of Office, Still Shapes U.S. Politics», published earlier this year in The Atlantic, a major outlet for globalist perspectives, Applebaum warned voters that democracy in America would suffer a fatal apoplectic blow under Trump. She quoted Anton Hofreiter, a member of the German parliament, who claimed that Europe would soon face competition from three autocracies: «Russia, China and the United States».
Anne Applebaum is the wife of Radek Sikorski, Poland’s foreign minister, who plans to run for president in May 2025. If Trump adheres to the old adage that «husband and wife are of one mind», the heir to the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, who aspires to be America’s most loyal squire and Trojan horse in Europe, may find herself facing significant challenges.
Former U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency officer Ivan Raiklin, as reported by Raw Story, allegedly called himself the «Minister of Retribution» and is said to have compiled a list of 350 officials in Washington’s corridors of power slated for mandatory removal under Trump. Though the retired lieutenant colonel denied the existence of any «enemies list», the conspiracy theory resonated with Democrats as it justified their preparations for possible violent action to obstruct a change of power in the White House.
The accumulated negative energy on both sides is bound to erupt. Trump and his supporters are ready and willing to retaliate against their opponents. Will there be classic reprisals? Unlikely. Will the «Washington swamp» be completely drained? Doubtful. But after all that has been said and done, it seems absolutely impossible to avoid at least partial purges.
