The soothsayer declared, according to The Hill, that «in less than 30 days, this administration will find itself at the center of a massive collapse, especially a collapse of public opinion». According to his information, President Trump’s approval rating has dropped from 50 percent to 30 percent due to his harsh style of restructuring state institutions.
One could see this bold prediction as a kind of psychotherapy session for the somewhat stunted opponents of Trump’s unexpectedly well-coordinated and ideologically motivated team. But the «new-old» president’s rating has indeed fallen slightly, though not critically. Most importantly, there are signs that the Washington bureaucratic class, formed in the era of Barack Obama and Joe Biden, which survived Trump’s first term by keeping a low profile, is now embarking on a secret war.
Elon Musk, as head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), took it upon himself to evaluate the performance of federal employees. A request was sent to them to provide detailed reports on what they did last week. The Department of Justice and the FBI announced that their employees would do nothing of the sort, citing in particular confidentiality requirements related to their activities.
At the same time, many security agencies are in the process of firing veteran employees — a process that rarely goes smoothly or without pain. Inevitably, the ranks of Trump’s critics are multiplying.
Musk is conducting an equally risky operation in the U.S. State and Defense Departments, where auditors have already discovered the disappearance of hundreds of millions of dollars earmarked for the purchase of products from defense contractors. The loss of government funds is directly linked to the supply of arms to the Kiev regime. As a result of these inspections, one can expect the exposure of an elaborate «scheme» that has enriched both pro-Ukrainian lobbyists milling around the Pentagon and corrupt officials in the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ uniform.
It’s not surprising that Elon Musk has a security detail as large as Trump’s. The exposure of high-level payoffs could cause an even bigger uproar than the release of the «Epstein list» of names of perverts and pedophiles from the so-called «upper crust».
The ranks of citizens disillusioned by Trump may also include workaholic farmers. Over the past two years, their incomes have fallen by almost a quarter (23%). Inflation has led to additional expenses for the purchase of agricultural machinery and mineral fertilizers, the essential precursor for achieving a high yield.
Unprecedented humiliation came in the form of viral social media videos showing supermarket fights in which citizens scramble to grab containers of chicken eggs off the shelves before anyone else. A shortage of fast-moving consumer goods over the twelve months of 2024 has driven up prices sixfold. In the state of Pennsylvania, brazen individuals raid wholesale warehouses and then sell the stolen eggs on the black market.
Last year, 140,000 farmers went bankrupt. The bankruptcy of the «rednecks» who gave America its well-deserved reputation as an agricultural powerhouse can thank the Obama-Clinton-Biden administration for their downfall. But Trump is unlikely to care about their misfortunes. He has chosen the fuel, energy and industrial sectors as the national champions of development.
It’s not entirely clear how Trump’s relationship with the financial oligarchy and the Federal Reserve (Fed) will develop. This analog of a central bank is a closed, opaque structure composed of 12 private banks. The Fed has the sole right of issuance — the right to print dollars and lend them to the U.S. government. In doing so, the Fed regulates the pace of the country’s economic development.
Earlier, Trump, on his social network Truth Social, accused the Fed of fueling inflation. However, he declared that instead of what the French call the «waltz of labels», he intends to boost the production of American energy resources, reduce regulation, restore the balance of international trade, and revive American manufacturing.
Nevertheless, Trump has repeatedly advocated what amounts almost to the nationalization of the Fed, not afraid to repeat the fate of John F. Kennedy, who was assassinated shortly after attempting to take over the Fed and start printing dollars in the name of the state.
There are suspicions that Trump did not issue the decree to remove the secret classification from the dossier on the physical elimination of the 36th President of the United States by accident. In this case, about 4,000 documents that could shed light on the shadowy orchestrators of the crime have yet to be released.
It is noteworthy that not only Trump, but also Musk is moving against the influential financial oligarchy. Immediately after his protector won the elections, Musk declared that it would be expedient to liquidate the Fed.
There is no doubt that the leader of the «revolution of common sense», who has actively set out to reformat — and at the same time purify — the state apparatus, is taking a big risk. The deep state, understood as an organized community of neoliberals and globalists, has come perilously close to eliminating the inconvenient maverick politician who turned out to be an adherent of conservative values. His bloodied ear is evidence that opponents of the «restructuring» planned by the guardians are ready to resort to extreme measures.
A direct reference, with an implicit threat in the subtext, is provided by the Hollywood film «Civil War», released in early 2024 as a piece of neoliberal agitprop. The politicized action film ends with a symbolic scene: an African-American woman, leading a group of stormtroopers united by the ideology of feminism and sexual perversion, bursts into the White House and eliminates a president who, in her view, is completely alien to her ideals — a figure who bears a striking resemblance to Trump.
Big Donald still appears to be the victor in the ideological war on the domestic front (thanks to the lingering euphoria of his election victory), but this is only an illusion. The reality resembles a dense fog of uncertainty.
Will Trump be able to cut through all the Gordian knots tied around the nation’s neck by neoliberals and globalists? Or will a steamroller of potential social, economic, and foreign policy failures crush the eager reformer?
There is undoubtedly a «second option» in the strategic reserve. This is JD Vance, who during a spectacular tour of Europe proved that he is even more Trump than the 47th president of the United States. But let us not forget that after one bullet silenced Lee Harvey Oswald — the man who shot Kennedy — some 40 potential witnesses were also eliminated. No, it is not the «revolution of common sense» in the U.S. that will begin to destroy itself. This will be done by hiring professionals who will act either out of conviction, for pay, or both.
